GREAT NEWS!!! We are accepting patients with Cigna and United Healthcare Commercial Insurance Plans (We are not able to bill medicare and Veterans plans at this time). Unfortunately we will not be able to begin the credentialing process with Medicare until July 2026. We are in the process of credentialing with multiple insurers including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Tricare and Champ VA. We will keep you updated on the progress.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Gayle Hamann will get to know you and all the many facets of your lifestyle and history, as they play a key role in your wellness journey. We as humans are not a single symptom or disease, but rather a combination of health, attitude, histories, hopes and processes.
Our job is to look at the patient as a whole and see where things have gone astray, then help them find their way back to wellness. This life is a journey, let us walk the path with you.
In addition to medical care for the physical body, we offer our patients integrative spiritual care through Healing Touch energy therapy and intuitive life and spiritual coaching by Tina Martin, HTP. Reiki, another form of energy healing, and massage therapy are offered by Cindy Brown, LMT. Our complementary services enhance the other treatments and offer a patient multiple ways to improve their health.
Dr. Gayle Hamann is an osteopathic physician licensed in both Tennessee and Washington. She moved to East Tennessee in 2017, where she has been teaching osteopathic principles and practice at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. She previously taught at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Before moving to Tennessee, in addition to teaching, Dr. Hamann had a small private practice in Washington, and has volunteered on medical missions and local events.
Her desire to give patients the care they deserve has pushed her to open a primary care practice, where patients will have more one-on-one time with a physician who cares about their health and wellbeing. Dr. Hamann believes the body has an innate ability to heal when given the right nutrients, exercise, and appropriate medical care. She believes that patients are the expert on their body and their history. You will leave your appointment feeling seen and heard.
In addition to being a caring and compassionate primary care provider, she is highly skilled in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). OMT can help to improve joint mobility, decrease stiffness, lessen pain and shorten recovery time. In addition, OMT can help reduce symptoms of asthma, GERD, esophageal spasms, constipation, headaches and migraines.
Tina Martin is an intuitive energy practitioner who incorporates Healing Touch in her practice. She is also a certified intuitive life coach and spiritual coach. She is a native of Morristown and comes from a long line of healers. Inherited traditional healing methods are used, as well as integrating useful tools from the Healing Touch Program originated by Janet Mentgen, RN, BSN, HTCP. Energy therapy, as well as life and spiritual coaching are integrative therapies that work in harmony with standard medical care and are for all ages.
Telehealth appointments are available to established patients of Cardinal OWC. They take less of your precious time but offer quality care for minor illnesses and ailments. Contact us to get started.
